Hi I am Edwin Silva

I love visual art. Here is a list of what interests me, 3D, movies with special effects, motion graphics, graphic design, web design and development.

I was employed in Bahrain by the following companies:

Mabsutoon Productions, it was a 2D and 3D production company where I did some 3D backgrounds, editing, and ToonBoom specialist. As a specialist in Toonboom studio, I do compositing of scenes, making the production flow as smooth as possible.

Fortune Promoseven (Bahrain, it is one of the biggest ad agency in the Middle East and Africa. I was doing many task to help the agency. One role is to design and develop websites. Another one is to help to make some motion graphics elements. I made a few 3D animations and you can see them here.

Swiss Bahrain Engineering and Contracting , I worked here as the main 3D designer, modeling, rendering and animating buildings and interiors.  Please refer to my portfolio page for some samples of my work.

3D Softwares

I used basically a lot of softwares . Here are a few of them :

Maya – I started with version 4 up to 2010.
3DS Max – I started with version 3  up to now version 2010
RealFlow – from version 3 to 4
Mentalray – from earlier to latest
Vray – from earlier version of to the latestAutoCAD – started from relase 12 up to 2009.

2D softwares or Image editing and layout programs:

Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign,Freehand and Fireworks
